The Durban University of Technology (DUT) has campuses in the beautiful cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal.
The merger in April 2002 of ML Sultan and Technikon Natal resulted in the Durban Institute of Technology, which later changed its name to what it is today.
Some 23 000 students attend lectures across the Ritson, City, Indumiso, ML Sultan, Riverside, and Steve Biko campuses.
The institution boasts a number of faculties, including business studies, accounting and informatics, applied sciences, arts and design, engineering and built environment, health sciences, management sciences, and writing.
The university’s main campus is located in Steve Biko Road, Berea, in Durban.
