Buffalo City Public FET College is a multi-campus college situated in East London. The Further Education and Training College has four campuses: John Knox Bokwe, East London, St Mark’s and King Street.
The college offers a variety of programmes suited to students who have completed Grade 9, 10, 11 and 12, school leavers, out-of-school youth, unemployed matriculants, and public- and private-sector employees up to the age of 65.
The primary purpose of Buffalo City Public FET College is to provide National Certificate Vocational courses (NCV), which focus on practice in a simulated workplace. The two major schools of study are the School of Business and School of Engineering. Areas of specialisation include the NCV qualifications in mechatronics and safety in society.
A variety of recreational options are available to students, including sporting activities such as soccer, netball, tennis, rugby and chess, and arts and cultural activities such as choir, dance, debating and drama.
